Boundary Fences have their own compliance standards.

This first photo displays an 1800mm high (post and rail) fence with capping on all posts and top rails. If the top rail of your boundary fence is within 900mm of the top of the fence, then you are required to have a 60 degree chamfer to stop children gaining a foothold (see second photo).
